My business is Gramsquiltinthings. I named it this because my mother always wanted her and I to have a business together to help pay both my medical, her medical and my aunts, but I didn’t find one for us before she passed. My kids called her grams, and this is a way to honor her and have her beside me all the time. I’ve had a very extensive medical history. Four of the last 5 years have been in a wheelchair. I had 5 right hip surgeries, sepsis twice, and my femur bone split in half. I am finally back to quilting again and Sewing to help support my medical. I have four adult children, 3 granddaughters, 5 mo grandson, and 2 mo twin grandsons. I have an amazing husband who I’ve been happily married to for 40 years.
