Owl pellets are regurgitated matter from an owl’s meal and primarily contain fur, bones, and teeth. Each pellet was collected directly on my 5 acre property. All the pellet material has been heat sterilized prior to shipping. It is still recommended that owl pellets are handled with gloves even after sterilization. Each bag weighs approximately 5 oz and are 6x6” in size. These bags contain pellets that are older and have began to fall apart. There are lots of bones and skulls in each bag. I do my best to remove any other material that is not part of the pellet but there could be occasional small vegetation that I missed including small leaves and/or pine needles.
