Hand-forged horseshoe door knocker made from a vintage Diamond hot-forged horseshoe. The horseshoe retains original manufacturer stamping (“Diamond / Hot Forged” with size marking “2H”), confirming it began life as a working horseshoe before being repurposed. The knocker assembly appears blacksmith-made, with a forged crossbar and striker attached to the horseshoe. Additional nail holes visible in the shoe are consistent with real horseshoes and distinguish this piece from mass-produced cast décor. Likely a one-off or small-batch handmade piece, well suited for rustic, farmhouse, equestrian, or folk-art décor. Condition Vintage condition with age-appropriate wear, surface rust, and patina consistent with forged iron. Structurally solid. No cracks observed.
