A multi-level tridimensional chessboard based on the futuristic version of the strategy game seen on the original Star Trek TV series (Desilu/Paramount, 1966-1969) and frequently seen being used by Captain Kirk, played by William Shatner, and Mr. Spock, played by Leonard Nimoy. This stylized replica was released as an officially licensed replica by The Franklin Mint in 1994. The set is complete and was found intact in its original styrofoam and appearingly never opened or played. The signed COA is included and confirms the chess pieces are in either 24 karat gold or sterling silver; also in their original box. The only missing piece is the outer box, which was falling apart and disposed of. Note: Check comps for COMPLETE sets.
