The collection is a mixed lot with different sizes of wooden, styrofoam, and plastic spools from different eras. Many show age and use; some retain paper labels while others are worn or unlabeled. All but five still hold thread. A complete sewing time capsule with color, age, and soul — a true sewing-room centerpiece, part display and part textile history, full of character and visual impact.
