This is a 1921 Peace Dollar (High relief) in Mint state 63, struck at the Philadelphia Mint this is a true “peace” of history and a coin collecting center piece. A design struck with such high peaks in the coin that the dies couldn’t physically keep up, by 1922 this coin had already been drastically altered to save the minting dies and thus the 1921 high relief peace dollar was left to emerge on its own as a highly collectible coin. Finding one at all and better yet in such superb condition by PGA is a rarity.
