Classic vintage Universal No. 1 food chopper featuring heavy cast iron construction and a wooden crank handle. These hand-crank grinders were a staple in early farmhouse kitchens and were used for grinding meat, vegetables, nuts, and other foods. The grinder attaches securely to a table or countertop using the built-in clamp. The cast iron body has developed a nice aged patina that gives it great vintage character. Marked on the top “Universal No. 1 Food Chopper.” Call Outs: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and patina to the metal. The crank turns smoothly.
