This exquisite set of two trinket boxes from Limoges, France is a must-have for any collector! The intricate hand-painted floral design on the oval-shaped box and egg box feature a beautiful pattern of flowers on a white background with burnt orange color. The boxes have a press fastening closure type and a glossy finish that adds to their elegant French style. The larger box is in great condition, no chips or scratches, the closure is not that secure. The stamp has been worn off the bottom. The egg has the Limoges France stamp, but has a long crack on the base as shown, but does not go all the way through. It also does not close that tightly.
