Stunning Oval carved black lip abalone brooch, approximately 3" x 2.25". Deeply carved full rose with pierced cutwork oval surround. Stunning rainbow iridescence — bronze, green, pink, and gold — shifts with the light. Pin back marked 洋銀 (yōgin/German silver, a blended metal). Vintage Japanese export, likely 1950s–1970s. Excellent condition. This size and oval format is exceptionally rare — most carved abalone rose pieces are found in smaller rounds or pendants.
