Vintage Chinese shard trinket box made from a salvaged porcelain fragment mounted in a silver-plated setting. Repurposed (antique pre-Revolution) porcelain shard and silver-plated metal, made into a silver plated, trinket box post revolution!! Hand-painted figure scene, typical of Chinese Chinoiserie decoration. Shard boxes often have irregular shapes due to the nature of the repurposed fragments! SO COOL!
