Pre-Columbian Moche culture, Peru, ca. 100–700 CE. Figural vessel depicting a shamanic figure holding ulluchu fruit, associated with Moche ceremonial practice. Strong sculptural form with large earspools and elaborate headdress. Surface retains an exceptionally well-preserved red slip with visible mineral deposits and manganese accretions consistent with age. Painted and relief details remain clear. Large example at 11.5”. Good overall condition for the type.
