1852 Braided Hair Large Cent. This coin features fantastic mid-grade details and a very pleasing "survivor" look. ​Obverse: Liberty’s portrait is sharp with clear "LIBERTY" on the headband and distinct hair strands. The stars are full and well-struck. ​Reverse: Strong wreath detail and bold lettering. Note a few minor rim nicks at the 3 o'clock and 8 o'clock positions (see photos). ​Surface: Gorgeous, even chocolate brown color. No active corrosion or "green" spots. ​Grade Estimate: Fine (F-15) to Very Fine (VF-20) Details. ​This is a premium example of pre-Civil War copper that would look great in any 19th-century type set.
