4" x 6" vintage photograph Original vintage color snapshot capturing the live fire and water cascade special effects of Catastrophe Canyon at Disney-MGM Studios, Florida. Date-stamped January 2, 1987 — an early documentation of this iconic Backlot Tour attraction. The foreground shows gas cylinders and track infrastructure; dramatic flames blaze left while a cascading water wall crashes right against the sculpted rock canyon walls, exactly as guests experienced it from the tram. Printed on Kodak paper. Size: 6x4 inches. Condition: VG+. Catastrophe Canyon was a fan-favorite Backlot Tour effect that has since been demolished — clear shots of the practical fire-and-water rig in action are sought by Defunctland fans and defunct Disney attraction collectors. This is an original photograph, not a reprint.
