For sale is a stunning, authentic Art Deco era (circa 1920s-1930s) yellow uranium glass necklace. This is a rare, long flapper/opera length strand featuring beautifully smooth, satin-finish graduated beads that scale up to a large centerpiece bead. When exposed to a UV / blacklight source (395nm), the uranium oxide in the glass glows with a brilliant, vibrant neon green fluorescence. Length: Approx. 86xm loop length (43cm drop length) .Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The glass beads are smooth and entirely free of major chips, cracks, or "flea bites" around the drill holes. String is a little discolored due to age. Stringing: Features its original individual knots between each bead, perfectly protecting the glass and maintaining its historical integrity A beautiful, highly collectible piece of wearable history.
