The American Prospector Design 1 oz Copper Round recalls the persistence and optimism of those who searched the nation's rivers and frontier lands for valuable deposits. A prospector works a river pan on the obverse, capturing the patient, hands-on process that became inseparable from the story of the American West. The reverse features a bald eagle carrying arrows and an olive branch, together with the round's metal content, weight, and purity. The combination of mining history and patriotic symbolism makes this .999 fine copper round a strong thematic collectible.
