Hey everyone, got a solid 1881-S Morgan Dollar up for bids today graded PCGS MS63. This is a good-looking coin. What makes this one a little more interesting is the slight doubling I spotted and circled in the macro photos. You can see it on parts of the bust, the date “1881”, and a few of the stars around the rim. It’s not slabbed as a variety, but it’s a neat little detail that adds some extra character and value to the coin. I’ve taken plenty of photos from different angles, including the close-ups with the red circles so you can see exactly what I’m talking about. What you see is what you get — no surprises.
