Up for sale is a 10-coin WWII-era silver lot straight from an estate box in southern Indiana. You get: • (8) Jefferson "War Nickels" – 1942-1945, 35% silver composition. These are the dark-gray nickels with the large mint mark above Monticello on the reverse (P, D, or S). All show honest circulation wear – no cleaning, no polishing. • (2) Mercury (Winged Liberty) Dimes – 90% silver, 1940s dates. Both are circulated with full rims and readable dates. Total silver content is approximately 0.59 troy ounces: • War nickels: ∼0.0563 oz each × 8 = 0.45 oz • Mercury dimes: ∼0.0723 oz each × 2 = 0.1446 oz Condition: Circulated, ungraded, sold as-is. Please see photos for exact coins you will receive – these are not stock images. Dates are readable but worn, typical for pocket change from the 1940s. I have not searched for varieties or errors.
