This magnificent nearly 200-year-old library set retains all consecutively numbered volumes I–XLVIII and features beautiful period leather bindings with gilt detailing, rich burgundy “Waverley Novels” title labels, deep green individual volume labels, and marbled covers. The volumes include many of Sir Walter Scott’s celebrated historical novels, including Waverley, Ivanhoe, Rob Roy, Kenilworth, The Heart of Mid-Lothian, The Bride of Lammermoor, The Antiquary, Guy Mannering, Woodstock, Castle Dangerous, and many others. Individual volumes include engraved illustrated title pages protected by tissue guards.
