This antique mid-19th-century blue and white transferware plate features the highly collectible "Moselle" pattern by John Alcock of Cobridge, England. Produced between 1849 and 1861, the piece showcases a romantic river landscape framed by a distinctive eight-sided octagonal scalloped rim with geometric and floral borders.
