Vintage Swingline Speed Stapler No. 4 manufactured by Speed Products Co., Inc. of Long Island City, New York. This is the older heavy all-metal Swingline Speed Stapler design with the number "4" marking on the front. Pre-owned vintage condition with substantial age and use wear throughout. Shows scratches, scuffs, finish loss, paint chips, oxidation, surface rust, discoloration, dark spotting and general wear consistent with an older office stapler. The underside and internal metal components also show oxidation and age-related wear. The stapling mechanism operates/moves manually. It has not been extensively tested with a full supply of staples, so no guarantee is made regarding long-term performance. This model was designed for Swingline No. 4 round-wire staples.
