Striking modernist statement ring with a sculptural overlapping design and a dramatic field of genuine marcasites. The polished sweeping lines contrast beautifully with the darkened, textured background, creating exceptional sparkle and dimension. The ring was sold to me as silver and produced a surface test reaction consistent with silver. However, it does not have a sterling or 925 fineness mark; the only visible stamp is a small P-like maker’s mark. Because the bright finish may be plated or coated, the metal has not been conclusively verified as solid sterling and is not guaranteed as such.
