Vintage Pendleton Woolen Mills zip-front wool jacket in brown, olive and black shadow plaid. Loop collar, brass zipper, slash hand pockets. Blue-and-gold “Warranted to be a Pendleton” label, Portland Oregon, 100% Virgin Wool. This is the older Pendleton tag — no fiber-content breakdown, no care instructions, no RN number, no Woolmark. Consistent with late 1950s to early 1960s production. No size tag — sold on measurements. Pit to pit 20”, collar to hem 25”. Fits like a modern men’s Small (about a 40 chest). Short, boxy period cut — sits at the hip. Condition — heavily distressed, sold as-is. Both cuffs are frayed through to raw edges. Tear at the left chest. Several small holes through the body and sleeves. White paint splatter throughout the front, back and sleeves. Zipper functions. This is a worn-in work jacket with 60-plus years of honest use on it, not a clean example. Priced for a buyer who wants the patina or plans to repair. All flaws photographed. No returns.
