Beautiful antique Art Deco porcelain salad/dessert plate made by Noritake in Japan. This piece features a striking iridescent, pearlescent light-green lusterware rim with a crisp white center. The focal point is a highly detailed, hand-painted central motif of two colorful birds (Asiatic pheasants/parrots) perched in a hanging flower basket surrounded by pink cherry blossoms.Historical Details:Date Range: Circa 1921–1940 based on the iconic green "M" in wreath Morimura backstamp.Markings: Fully stamped on the reverse with "Noritake", "M", "Hand Painted", and "Made in Japan".Dimensions: Approximately 7.5 to 8 inches in diameter Excellent vintage condition for its 90+ year age. No chips, cracks, or hairline fractures. There is very minimal, typical age-related wear to the glaze and paint.Note: There is a vintage paper tape label on the back from a previous family generation identifying the original owner ("Great Grandmother Wahlen"). I have left this intact for historical provenance, but
