Beautiful Parian ware classical figurine crafted in unglazed ivory-white porcelain with a soft, marble-like matte finish. The finely modeled figure wears flowing classical drapery and holds a detailed cluster of grapes, suggesting a harvest or Bacchic theme. She stands barefoot atop an ornate round pedestal decorated with raised floral and botanical relief. Crisp sculptural details throughout give this piece wonderful Neoclassical, Victorian and Grand Tour-inspired character. Unmarked on the underside, so maker and exact age are unknown. A lovely statement piece for a classical, romantic, antique or traditional interior. Expect vintage wear. Item sold as is. I will do my best to bring your attention to any imperfections during the live show. I’m not perfect either!
