Vintage H.G.CO. (Hemingray Glass Company) glass utility/telephone line insulator in blue-aqua glass. Embossed “H.G.CO.”, “PATENT MAY 2 1893” and “PETTICOAT.” Features a double-petticoat design with sharp drip points around the base. The May 2, 1893 date refers to the Hemingray patent and does not necessarily indicate the exact manufacture date of this individual insulator. Pre-owned antique/vintage condition with age-related wear, marks, surface imperfections and manufacturing characteristics in the glass.
