Beautiful vintage handmade crewel embroidery depicting children decorating a candlelit Christmas tree while Santa comes down the chimney. The richly stitched scene includes colorful ornaments, candy canes, presents, toys and a decorated mantel. Presented with an arched burgundy mat in a warm wood-tone frame. Measures approximately 21 inches tall by 16 inches wide. A wonderfully nostalgic piece of handmade fiber art for a Christmas gallery wall or traditional holiday display.
