Blade The 3.45" bowie blade is hollow ground from Crucible S90V, a powder metallurgy steel loaded with vanadium carbides. S90V holds an edge longer than most steels on the market and resists corrosion well, though it takes more effort to sharpen due to its hardness. The stonewashed finish at 60-61 HRC hides small scratches from daily use while the blade stock runs 0.12" thick. Handle The scales are Vibe Bordeaux Jute Micarta, a composite made by resin-impregnating layers of jute fabric under pressure.
