Beautiful antique Rosenthal & Co. porcelain plate, made in Germany and dating to approximately 1891–1906. This delicate late-Victorian/Edwardian plate features soft lavender and mauve florals with green foliage, a fluted scalloped rim, and remnants of gilt decoration around the edge. The underside bears the early R&C Germany mark associated with Rosenthal & Co. from this period. A matching example from the same pattern bears the handwritten decorator/pattern number 1886/10, which appears to be an internal design or decoration code rather than a production year. Measures approx. 7.75” diameter. Condition: There is a long hairline crack extending across much of the plate, visible from both front and back. Additional gilt wear, light staining, surface wear, and age-related marks are present. Best suited for decorative display or collection rather than functional use. Please review photos closely.
