For the serious WWII collector who wants the uncomfortable, politically radioactive, difficult-to-find material that usually never shows up beside the standard Churchill, Eisenhower, and Patton titles—this mystery lot is going to be one of the books people remember from today's show. This is not another ordinary WWII history book. This mystery volume comes from one of the most controversial corners of twentieth-century historical publishing—a book written by a man who personally stood on the losing side of the war, knew the world he was writing about firsthand, and spent the rest of his life refusing to soften his interpretation of what happened. When this work appeared, mainstream reviewers did not merely disagree with it—they attacked the entire historical project behind it. Issued by a publisher notorious enough to become part of the story itself, this is a title that isn't just famous...it's infamous.
