Vintage Baret Ware decorative tin plate titled “The Idyll,” made in England. Measures approximately 10” in diameter. Features a romantic pastoral courting scene at center, surrounded by delicate floral sprays, cream-colored ground, cobalt blue decorative panels, and gilt-style accents. Back bears the Baret Ware crest, “Made in England,” and faint title marking. Likely dates to the mid-20th century, around the 1950s. Decorative metal/tin plate intended for wall or display use. Shows visible age-related wear including scratches, surface scuffs, discoloration, and finish loss, especially around the rim and reverse. Please review photos closely.
