Gingerbread Gingerbread is a warm, spiced gourmand candle centered on cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, creamy vanilla, and smooth tonka. It evokes freshly baked gingerbread cooling in a cozy kitchen—more softly sweet and warmly spiced than sharp, overly sugary, or heavily molasses-dark. Fragrance Pyramid Top Notes: Cinnamon Middle Notes: Nutmeg, clove Base Notes: Vanilla, tonka Detailed Candle Description Gingerbread opens with the familiar warmth of cinnamon. The first impression is bright, dry, and gently sweet, like cinnamon just stirred into warm cookie dough. It delivers an immediate bakery-like comfort without reading as red-hot cinnamon candy or a sharp holiday potpourri. The cinnamon creates a welcoming glow, setting the tone for a classic seasonal spice fragrance. As the candle warms, nutmeg and clove emerge through the heart. Nutmeg adds a smooth, slightly woody and gently nutty warmth that makes the composition feel fuller and more baked. Clove deepens the blend with a darker, aromatic spice—earthy, lightly floral, and a touch peppery. Together, they create the recognizable heart of gingerbread spice: warm, rounded, and nostalgic, like a tray of cookies just removed from the oven. In the dry-down, vanilla provides a creamy, comforting sweetness that softens the spice notes and gives the fragrance its cookie-like finish. Tonka adds a plush, golden depth, with nuances that can suggest vanilla, almond, warm hay, and a subtle caramel-like sweetness. The result is smooth and enveloping rather than dry or aggressively spicy, leaving behind a soft, sweet-spice trail that feels like warm bakery air. The overall aroma is cinnamon-warm, nutmeg-rich, clove-spiced, vanilla-creamy, tonka-smooth, and cozy. Gingerbread is not a sharply gingery candle, a dense molasses cookie scent, or an intensely sugary frosting fragrance. Instead, it captures the warm spice structure and comforting vanilla finish associated with traditional gingerbread baking: inviting, familiar, and gently indulgent.
