Spiced Plum Fragrance Pyramid Top Notes: Dark plum, black cherry, bright orange zest Middle Notes: Cinnamon bark, crushed clove, warm holiday spice Base Notes: Vanilla bean, soft amber, subtle sandalwood Detailed Candle Description Spiced Plum opens with the rich, juicy depth of dark plum. The first impression is smooth, velvety, and slightly wine-like, with a ripe, almost jammy character rather than a light fresh-fruit sweetness. A touch of black cherry gives the fruit a deeper red tone, while a faint twist of orange zest lifts the opening with a bright, sparkling contrast. This prevents the plum from becoming too heavy and gives the candle an inviting, festive radiance. As the wax pool develops, the fragrance becomes warmer and more aromatic. Cinnamon bark brings a dry, woody warmth—not a sugary cinnamon-candy effect—while crushed clove adds a darker, earthy, lightly peppery spice. Together, they create the signature “spiced” character: reminiscent of simmering fruit preserves, mulled holiday drinks, or plums baked gently with whole spices. The fruit remains at the center, but the spices make it feel richer, moodier, and more seasonal. In the dry-down, vanilla bean wraps the plum and spice in a soft, creamy sweetness. It smooths the sharper edges of cinnamon and clove without turning the fragrance into a bakery candle. A gentle amber warmth lends golden depth, while subtle sandalwood gives the finish a polished, quiet woodiness. The final effect is warm and enveloping: dark sugared fruit, lingering spice, and a soft, elegant glow. The overall aroma is ripe, dark-fruity, jammy, cinnamon-warm, clove-spiced, softly vanilla-sweet, and sophisticated. Spiced Plum is not a bright candy-plum fragrance, a tart berry blend, or a dense cinnamon-potpourri scent. It is a plush autumn-and-holiday profile—ripe plums steeped in warm spice, softened with vanilla, and grounded by a restrained amber-wood finish.
