Features an ornate hinged pewter lid and thumb lift and is marked ¼ L for quarter-liter capacity. The underside bears the impressed 351 mold number along with a faint impressed manufacturer’s mark consistent with Marzi & Remy markings. Marzi & Remy was founded in Höhr, Germany in 1879 and became one of the prominent Westerwald stoneware manufacturers. Approximately 6¼” tall overall, as shown in the measurement photographs. Pre-owned antique condition with age-related wear, surface marks, glaze variations and patina to the pewter.
