Fantastic vintage 1968 Toronto football award medal/pendant with an ornate, dimensional design and a raised football player in action at the center. Decorative scrollwork and textured detailing give this piece a great old-school trophy-medal look. The reverse is hand engraved: “Toronto Football League C/Ship 1968” Appears to commemorate a 1968 Toronto Football League Championship. Nice original patina with age-appropriate surface wear and scratching, particularly on the reverse. Metal content is unmarked/unknown and has not been tested. Pretty sure this is sterling, I purchased from a sterling scrapper. A unique piece of 1960s Canadian sports memorabilia that also works beautifully as a vintage pendant or fob.
