Porcelain with hand-applied floral decals and gold sponging.    •   Design: Oval reticulated (open-work) rim with gilt edge, decorated with pastel pink and purple bell flowers and turquoise leaves.    •   Size: Approx. 6” x 4”. Notes for Collectors/Sellers    •   The pierced “lace” rim and gold sponge trim are typical of mid-century Japanese export pieces.    •   Because there is no unique maker’s mark, it is categorized broadly as “Vintage Japanese Porcelain.”    •   Condition (gold wear, decal loss) will affect value; pristine examples bring a bit more.
