I was at on a date with a woman I met on Hinge. We were having a good time, everything was cool until her crazy ex showed up with his friends. They jumped me because he wanted her back, even though she clearly didn’t want anything to do with him. They beat me up pretty badly.
Luckily, cardguysatl had just finished baseball practice and saw what was happening. He went into full hero mode and took on everyone. I was bloody and messed up, and he got me out of there fast. He put me in his brand new car and drove me to the hospital. I felt terrible because I got blood all over his seat, and I told him I’d clean it, but he just said, “Don’t worry about it bro, I got it.”
He came to the hospital every day to visit me, helped me walk, helped me recover, and we ended up becoming really good friends.
Just shows there are still amazing, genuine people out there. This dude deserves more love, fr. 🙏 Bought a 1966 Sandy Koufax seller said had no creases or wrinkles . It finally arrived and has creases and wrinkles all over the card. Shipping package was wrapped when it arrived as well.
Seller also bragged to other buyers for another sandy Koufax similar to one I bought that he “just sold one in worse condition than this for $35” as if he was proud someone bought a bad card for a high price. For the amount I paid I would have expected a card in ok condition, or at least have the seller show and explain the creases and wrinkles. OR at minimum not talk crap about a “worse condition” card to other buyers on his stream.
Will be hesitant to buy from this seller again, and others should be weary of pricing and the condition of the cards compared to his prices.
