Produced in Staffordshire, England by George Wade & Son Ltd, this figurine belongs to the beloved Wade Whimsies line. Wade Ceramics traces its mastery of earthenware and porcelain back to 1810, but these hand-sculpted charms originated in the 1950s, modeled by William Harper and crafted in the pottery-rich town of Burslem. Clad in a glossy glaze with detailed wrinkles and folds, this rhino embodies rugged beauty and gentle strength, all within a compact 2" size. Pre-owned and in good vintage condition. Two available—each rhino may show slight variations in hue and expression, adding to their boutique individuality.
