Product Details

Thinking about buying an old, Maine farm house and raising sheep? Before you do that, you might want to read Mash In My Martini by Lucy Longfellow — a delightful, privately printed collection from J.H. French & Son, Brunswick, Maine (1996). The white softcover features clever black-and-white artwork of barnyard livestock sipping from a martini glass (complete with olive!) on the front, and a lovely woodcut of a Cape Cod farmhouse and barn on the back. It's also signed by the author with a personal inscription on the title page. Measures approx. 8.5" x 5.375" x 0.75". In very good condition — clean pages and tight binding,. A charming piece of Maine small-press humor that’s as rare as it is entertaining. Perfect for collectors of regional literature, New England humor, or private press publications. This 29 year old paperback is in very good condition. There is a bookstore price written lightly in pencil on the title page along with the author's signature and personal inscription
