This one is an interesting piece, and a borderline mystery. This was sold to me as petrified wood from the Appalachian Mountains, aka, "Appalachian Marble". It also looks a bit coral-y to me, but what do I know? The interwebs say it might be rusty quartz or even natural gold! Whatever it is, it's kinda cool and rustic. [ Please note: I am an amateur rock collector and share the info I have been given from the sellers I originally purchased this from. I do my best to tell you everything I know, but please recognize that my experience is limited. This item as well as others on WN were purchased earlier in my collecting days and now it's time to focus my collection! I hope you enjoy as much as I have. ]
