Death and Honor is a 2008 World War II novel by W. E. B. Griffin and William E. Butterworth IV, part of the Honor Bound series. The story follows OSS agent and Marine pilot Cletus Frade in 1943 Argentina as he uncovers a German operation to smuggle "dirty money"—money extorted from German Jews for their relatives' freedom—to fund Nazi safe havens in South America, a plot known as Operation Phoenix. Frade must stop this operation and is also tasked with setting up an official airline for the OSS.
