I’m calling it a cookie dish because I’ve served cookies and pastries on this lovely piece, but you can serve anything you like on it. The pattern though reminiscent of the many Limoges garland patterns, is not Limoges. This serving dish was actually made in Germany as you can see by the back stamp. I’m not sure what the numbers mean, but I do believe this is a vintage piece and it is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. Additionally, I see no scratches. The very small dark spots you may see, I’m certain occurred during manufacturing and do not take away from the beauty of this dish.
