R.J Dill played for Maryland in 2009-2010 and then had a coaching change at UMD and saw a new coach come in that did not utilize him. In 2009 Dill was named Freshman All-ACC selection by Rivals. Dill transferred to Rutgers for his grad year and found a spot immediately. Dill jumped around practice squads from 2013-2014 and then signed with the Cowboys in 2015, where he failed a drug test due to Testosterone Replacement Therapy that was still in his system six months after treatment. The NFL did not grant him a TUE. Dill was cut and out of the NFL by October 2015.
