Very old porcelain biscuit barrel with a décor of lavender flowers with pale green leaves surrounding the entire barrel and on the lid. Gold highlights surround the base of the barrel and the lid handle and there is a thin gold rim around the edge of the barrel’s lid and the top edge of the barrel. A raised white decorative pattern is on all sides of the barrel and the top of the lid. About 6 inches in height! Flea bite chips on one little edge of the jar. The barrel without its lid in place is approximately 6¼” high at its highest point, has an overall top diameter of approximately 5¼” and a top open diameter of approximately 3¾”. With its lid in place the barrel is approximately 7¾” high at its highest point.
