These are the 1-cent and 2-cent stamps from the 1920 US Pilgrim Tercentenary Issue. The green 1-cent stamp (Scott #548) depicts the ship Mayflower. The carmine-rose 2-cent stamp (Scott #549) illustrates the Pilgrims' landing at Plymouth, Massachusetts. The stamps were issued on December 21, 1920, to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Pilgrims' arrival. A third 5-cent stamp depicting the signing of the Mayflower Compact was also part of the set.
