A very cool item for a farmhouse kitchen! This is a vintage and empty but well preserved Golden Beehive Corn Syrup 5 lb. Tin Can/pail from the St. Lawrence Starch Co. of Port Credit, Ontario, Canada. What I love about this item is that it still has the paper sticker on the lid advertising "Free Hockey Pictures" for the removable token (long gone) and request for players you could send to Beehive's offices. Perfect for those who love a rustic display! Could hold wooden spoons or simply add a burst of colour to a white kitchen, when placed on top of the refrigerator or cupboards. Great for a plant or flowers also.
