Natural and Unpolished: This geode is in its raw, natural state. The outer surface is dull or rocky — the beauty is hidden inside! This geode hasn’t been polished — it’s natural exterior protects the crystals within. Trancas geodes are beautifully crystal‐lined geological specimens from Chihuahua, Mexico, known for their drusy quartz interiors, sometimes striking crystal forms. They are appreciated for their aesthetics, collectibility and variety. These geodes form in volcanic or sedimentary environments where cavities (such as gas bubbles or voids) in rock allow mineral‐rich fluids to enter and deposit silica, carbonates and other minerals over time. This geode was wet when photographed to capture all of its beauty. Please be advised this geode may look different when dry.
