These bracelets were very commonly made in Spain in the 1930s–1950s, sold to travelers visiting Madrid, Toledo, and Barcelona. Each panel depicts a different scene from El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes.
