This is a wonderful Victorian Tiger Eye cameo ring depicting the Greek/Roman god Mercury/Hermes. He is highly detailed and is seen wearing his winged helmet. It is an unusual ring because the cameo is done in high relief and we see him front on. The rose gold mounting done in 14k gold is beautifully detailed. The ring weighs 4.7g. No markings but tested at 14k.
