You’ll see a photo of me so excited to be amongst such an incredible artist. To call these pieces just wine glasses would be an understatement. My passion is to figure out signatures on glass, learning about the artist and giving them credit for creating. It’s about matching a signature with a person and matching my glass with a new friend. There is something almost magical about the fact that glass starts as sand, is transformed by fire and human breath, and then "freezes" into these liquid shapes. Unlike a factory-made plastic bowl, you can see the soul of the artist in the tiny imperfections—a single bubble, the way a pontil mark was snapped off, like an umbilical cord being cut.
