This is a vintage mid-century swan baby planter made in Japan by Giftwares Co. / Nancy Pew, marked CGW Japan 8207 on the base with the original gold foil label still attached. The piece features a baby tucked safely inside a graceful pale-blue swan, flanked by two pink teddy bears on each side. The hand-painted pastel tones—soft blue, pink, and yellow—perfectly capture the sweet innocence of 1950s nursery décor. Originally sold in gift shops and floral boutiques, this ceramic planter would have been given as a baby shower or new arrival gift.
